Torre Pimentel
Torremolinos

The Tower of the Mills gives the city its name!
The Torre de los Molinos, later called Torre Pimentel, in homage to a soldier who helped the Catholic Monarchs to conquer Malaga at the end of the fifteenth century, gives rise to the name of the city. It is between Calle San Miguel and Cuesta del Tajo, on the road that leads to Bajondillo beach.

Casa de los Navajas
Torremolinos

A palace in the heart of the Bajondillo.
In the 20s and 30s, along with the first hotel establishments such as the Parador de Montemar or the Castillo del Inglés (Santa Clara residence hotel), some wealthy families chose Torremolinos as their second home. Thus, houses and buildings were erected, some of which are of unique architectural interest, such as that of the Navajas family, next to the Bajondillo, or that of Huerta del Rincón, in La Carihuela, the latter of which is privately owned.

Morro de Torremolinos
Torremolinos

This magnificent natural monument is visible from practically everywhere on the coast of Torremolinos.
The immense landscape occupied by the 'Punta' or 'Morro' acts as an intermediate point of the town, dividing it into two halves and acts as a natural border between two of the most famous beaches of the city: La Carihuela and El Bajondillo. In the past, it acted as a physical boundary between the two areas, but an extension of the promenade allows you to walk along the sea and enjoy a unique route along the Mediterranean.
